Good Bye Ollie Boy

Ollie 4 weeks old

Ollie  5 years old

Today was a sad day. We lost our beloved dog Ollie. We rescued him at 4 weeks old when he was dumped by the side of the road in a carboard box. We looked after him as best we could despite his huge size and difficult behaviour. My heart is broken but I know he is in a beautiful happy place and I hope he knows how much we loved him.........................

Have just visited from Down to earth. What an insightful blog! Have immediately put you on my favourites list? Now you must find out about releasing your workbook as Iwant to buy it !! I am looking forward to reading my way through your archives but really ought to resist the temptation as I must do some tidying up and ironing before the weekend arrives. It is very cold and grey in my bit of the U.K . I live near the sea in Dorset- Mum of two-Rebecca who is 17 and Jacob who is 20 and at uni. Am a supply teacher and wife of Dave who is a science teacher. Have spent years trying to get on top of the decluttering but 2013 is going to be the year! Love Penny Lxxx

Just realised I haven't given you my condolences on the loss of Ollie Boy. I know there will be a huge hole in your lives for a long while and you have my sympathies. Even though I don't know you I will hold you and your family in my heart for the next few days. Pennyxx

So sorry to hear about Ollie. What a beautiful thing you did rescuing him. We have 2 rescue dogs who both have tricky behaviour which we've put loads of time working with. They are a blessing in our life and I can't imagine being without them. My thoughts are with you. I bet he gave you lots of laughs over the years. Take care Wendy
